Q: How strong is the pipe and components? A: The pipe and black components are all made out of extra strength nylon based material designed to withstand the sun, rain, and extreme heat. 

Q: How long do the velcro straps last? A: Velcro is designed to be used at a minimum of 2,000 times. 

Q: How well does the locking mechanism work? A: The screw is nylon and threads through a metal nut so it holds things very well. 

Q: Do the velco straps work in the rain? A: Yes, water actually does not effect velcro's usefulness.
